As of yesterday, the popular Gentoo based pentesting Live DVD Pentoo has released a public beta of Pentoo 2012. Based on Gentoo Linux, this penetration testing Live DVD boasts a ton of applications for the home hobbyist hacker and professional pentester. Released yesterday, the compiling of this mega-house pentesting distro beta was done at Defcon 2012 and we must say this new release is great for Linux masters and n00b hackers to use their skills in pentesting.
