Reblogged from Adrian Andrade:
If your like me, you've probably installed a linux distribution or two on your old Windows pre-installed hardware but now have that old "Powered by Windows" sticker looking back at you. Well not anymore. If you don't want to print out some stickers on your own from templets found on the internet, System76, the company who sells Ubuntu Linux pre-installed on Desktops and Laptops, provides professional quality stickers for your current hardware so you can replace or place alongside your "Powered by Windows" sticker.

That’s pretty cool. I wish Mint had a more interesting logo. I guess since it’s based on Ubuntu, the stickers would still apply.
It would be nice for it to have its own stickers, time will tell. What has been your experience in working with Linux Mint in general?
Well, up until 12 it was stable and comfortable. 12 was like Frankenstein’s creation. That didn’t stay on my PC for long. That wasn’t really their fault, though. Anyway, despite including some proprietary stuff, I like having Flash, Java, and other things installed with the release. It’s ready to go. They seem to listen to their users. Clem interacts with us. I just wish they would fork.
I guess Ubuntu is sticking with Unity. How’s that working out? I started in the Linux world with Ubuntu but Unity didn’t sit well with me.
So, you didn’t like 12, what was wrong with it? I do like the way Clem listens to us as well.
Gnome made the decision to move away from conventional desktop environments. That kind of left a lot of distros in the lurch. 12 was released with a layer, MGSE, on top of Gnome 3 to make it more traditional. It also came with MATE, a fork of Gnome 2, which wasn’t ready yet. It just didn’t work out too well. That’s why I’m glad they’re developing Cinnamon themselves.
Yes, I agree. I see much potential in Mate and Cinnamon. I really like my wobbly windows and am not changing till I get it back lol!
The way I read your question I wasn’t sure if you knew anything about the situation. I didn’t mean to come across as a know it all or talk down to you.
Now I know what wobbly windows are. I’d heard of them. Such an informative video. 2nd google result.
Oh, no. No offense whatsoever. I started my Linux journey in early 2010, but I am still learning and I think that is wonderful as I can get bored quite easily at times.
Lol! I know it may sound crazy but I love wobbly windows. That was like one of the first things I did when I got Ubuntu.
